Job Description We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced Senior Marketing Specialist, preferably with experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotech and Chemical Industries, to join our team. This role will work in a matrix environment, with primary reporting into the Vice President Operations and the position will be based on the East Coast of the United States.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, coordinate, and track marketing programs and campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, virtual and in-person events, etc.)
- Analyze and report on the outcomes of campaigns.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends and market activities to help identify new business opportunities.
- Create, update, and maintain marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral to support the business development team.
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs, including SEO and branding.
RequirementsThis position requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of two (2) years of marketing experience with a technology company.Other requirements include:
- A degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or relevant industry experience
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and tools
- Ability to translate technical product descriptions and existing customer use cases into compelling customer facing materials and stories
- Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret statistics on the success of marketing campaigns
- Proficient in social media marketing and familiar with current technologies used for digital marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of SEO
- Ability to prioritize, organize and operate in a fast moving, entrepreneurial start-up environment
- Proactive work ethic and a bias for action
- Self-motivated, with exceptional discipline to work independently to assure success
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to persuade and influence others with sound reasoning and logic
